Ducati street fighter published a recall for a certain number of its 2009 models circulated in the car by 1198cc which have the suspension improved of hlins. Specifically the recall affects 2009 1098R, 1198S, and Streetfighter S. Ducati street fighter publishes the recall because of possible cracking in the lower sector of bolt of pinching of the right fork. This defect affects 732 units sold in the United States.
The right fork can have possible cracking and the deformation with the sector of bolt of pinching of wheel axle of the bottom of fork of right-sided. The cracking of the fork can lead to a loss of ordering of direction, probably having for result an accident. There is no indication if hlins is to blame defect or of Ducati.
